1. Who we are
54 Build Services ("we", "us") is a technology consulting and engineering firm serving clients across Africa and Europe. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. 2. Laws we comply with
We process personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and the regulations and directives issued by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

Assessment insights and offers. We look at assessment answers in aggregate to understand common challenges and improve our services. We only send marketing about your results, such as guides or offers related to the gaps your assessment found, if you tick the optional box on the assessment. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing hello@54build.com.
Newsletter. We only send the newsletter to people who have ticked the consent box. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@54build.com. We keep subscriber details until you unsubscribe, then delete them within 30 days, apart from a minimal record that you opted out. Our email service provider sends the newsletter and assessment reports on our behalf, and our database provider stores enquiries, assessments, subscriptions and visit statistics, each under a data processing agreement.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We measure visits with cookieless analytics: we record the page viewed, the referring website, campaign tags, country, and device and browser type, and count unique visitors with a daily one-way code that cannot identify you. IP addresses are not stored, and "Do Not Track" is respected. See our cookie policy.
5. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate this website and our business, such as hosting, form processing and email providers, under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal data outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we transfer data only in line with the cross-border transfer provisions of the NDPA, relying on adequacy or appropriate safeguards such as contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
Enquiry and assessment data is kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction unless a contract requires longer.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact hello@54build.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access control and regular security review.

We may update this policy. The date above shows when it was last revised.
